Si bien el recorrido final del huracán Florence aún es incierto, gran parte de Carolina del Norte espera un severo impacto de esta tormenta. Nos preocupamos por la seguridad de todos aquellos en nuestra comunidad, y queremos que esté a salvo. Aquí hay algunos recursos para ayudarlo a prepararse para esta tormenta:
NC Ready App: Esta aplicación móvil es una herramienta todo en uno que lo ayudará a prepararse para la tormenta. La aplicación proporciona información sobre el tráfico en tiempo real y las condiciones climáticas, los niveles de los ríos, las evacuaciones y los cortes de energía.
Red Cross Hurricane App: Sirve para prepárese de las inclemencias del tiempo con huracanes por parte de la Cruz Roja Americana. Monitoree las condiciones en su área o durante la tormenta, prepare a su familia y hogar, busque ayuda y deje que los demás sepan que usted está seguro, encuentre refugios abiertos. Esta aplicación es indispensable para cualquier persona que viva en un área por donde pasará el huracán o tiene seres queridos en áreas de riesgo.

Be Prepared. Be Safe.
While the path of Hurricane Florence is still uncertain, much of North Carolina is expecting a severe impact from this storm. We care about the safety of all those in our community, and we want you to be safe. Here are a few resources to help you prepare for this storm:
Ready NC App – The ReadyNC mobile app is an all-in-one tool to help you prepare for the storm. The app gives information on real-time traffic and weather conditions, river levels, evacuations and power outages.
Red Cross Hurricane App – Be ready for severe weather with Hurricane by American Red Cross. Monitor conditions in your area or throughout the storm track, prepare your family and home, find help and let others know you are safe, find open shelters – a must have for anyone who lives in an area where a hurricane may strike or has loved ones who do.
Hurricane Preparedness Checklist – Our friends at the Red Cross have great resources to help you and your family prepare for this storm. Take time now to review this checklist so you can stay safe during the storm.
