On Thursday, February 4th, the 12th Annual Chocolate Affair to Remember was held to benefit the Catholic Charities office in Fayetteville. The elegant evening brought together various members of the community to celebrate and support the efforts provided by Catholic Charities staff.
Over 150 individuals attended the event which raised over $13,000 to support local programming. Fayetteville Regional Director, Wanda Collazo, was overjoyed with the support of the community. “There are many families in our own backyard that continue to need help. It is great to see so much support from the community to help these families get back on their feet,” she stated.
Guests enjoyed live music from Upscale and Casual, Hors d’oeuvers from local vendors, and various delicious deserts. A few lucky guests went home as silent and live auction winners with a few big ticket items available, including a signed Carolina Hurricanes stick and signed Carolina Panthers football.
