Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh will sponsor the Third Annual Celebrate God’s Gifts Gala on Saturday, April 27, 2013. The event, hosted by the Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Raleigh Marriott City Center.
The festivities will also include presentation of the 2013 Bishop F. Joseph Gossman Community Service Award to Ron and Jeanette Doggett. Longtime benefactors of various charitable causes, the Doggetts have supported such organizations as Catholic Parish Outreach, Habitat for Humanity, and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
“In just three short years, this gala has become the signature fundraising event for Catholic Charities,” said Charlie Lorelli, Chair of the Catholic Charities Board. “We look forward to another great evening with Bishop Burbidge and generous supporters from across the Diocese.”
Attendees will enjoy drinks and a seated dinner, as well as entertainment. Individual tickets are $75. To inquire about sponsorships or purchase tickets, contact Justyn Lord at 919-821-8146 or email ccdevelopment@raldioc.org.
ABC11 Meteorologist Chris Hohmann will serve as emcee for this fundraising event.
